Haaptick legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Thank you for visiting Haaptick. Haaptick, a trading name of Spark Quest Pty Ltd (ABN 19 677 592 451) (“we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit haaptick.com, enquire about our services or communicate with us.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy covers personal information we handle through this website and direct business communications. Retailer-run activations require their own collection notices explaining the retailer’s and Haaptick’s roles, the details requested, how they are used and any marketing choices. Those notices and agreed data-handling arrangements apply to the relevant campaign. The phone and dashboard demonstrations on this website use fictional data and do not collect customer information.
2. Information We Collect
Personal information may include your name, work email, company, phone number if you provide it in a message, enquiry details and subsequent correspondence. The enquiry form requests your name, work email and company; your message is optional. If you do not provide contact details, we may be unable to respond. Please do not submit sensitive personal information. Our hosting provider may also process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, request times and pages requested for delivery, security and troubleshooting.
3. How We Collect Your Information
We collect information directly when you complete an enquiry form, email us or otherwise communicate with us. Netlify processes website form submissions. Email correspondence is handled through our Google/Gmail service. Hosting and security systems may generate technical logs when you visit. We may receive relevant business information from service providers or from people you authorise to contact us.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use information to respond to enquiries, discuss and scope retail activations, communicate about agreed services, administer our business, maintain website security and meet legal obligations. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. If you separately choose to receive marketing, you can withdraw that choice using the unsubscribe option or by contacting us.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it to providers supporting website hosting and form processing (Netlify), email (Google/Gmail), professional advice and agreed service delivery, and to authorities where required or authorised by law. Our cloud providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside Australia, including in the United States. Processing locations depend on the provider and service configuration. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
6. Data Retention and Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online system is completely secure. We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, including managing enquiries, providing agreed services and meeting legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable retention requirements.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website does not include analytics or advertising tracking scripts. The interactive demonstrations do not save your choices in cookies or browser storage. Hosting and security providers may process technical request information. See our Cookie Policy for more detail about cookies, similar technologies and browser controls.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold by emailing hello@haaptick.com. We may need to verify your identity. We will consider the request under applicable law and explain any reason we cannot fulfil it. To raise a privacy concern, email the same address with the relevant details. We will acknowledge and investigate the concern and respond within a reasonable period. If it remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au where applicable.
9. Links to Third-Party Sites
Our website may contain links to external sites that are not operated by Haaptick. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites, and we are not responsible for their practices.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post any updates on this page, and the “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when changes were made.
